Meetings

Meetings of the Graybackers occur four times a year on a roughly quarterly basis. Board of Directors meetings alternate with full meetings, and also occur four times a year.

The regular meetings of the full membership are constituted primarily for fellowship and information useful to members. Although there is often an educational component from speakers, the meetings are geared to camaraderie and enjoyment and include a luncheon, whose cost may be partly borne by member fees.

The Graybackers Board has a set schedule of meetings -- 2 p.m. on the second Wednesday of March, May, September and December.

The regular meetings vary as to date, owing to some booking conflicts for restaurants, but a schedule is usually available to members once each year. A social gathering usually starts at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at about noon.

Regular meetings in 2011-2012 were scheduled in late 2011:

Spring Meeting; April 26, 2012 at Field Club of Omaha

Summer Picnic: June 19, 2012 at the Cooper Farm.

Annual Meeting: October 21, 2010 was at Boys Town Conference Center on the Lake.

In February each year, Creighton University's President hosts a Graybacker Founders Week luncheon and generally gives a brief report on the state of the university.
