Mission Statement

The Mission of the Creighton University Rugby Football Club is to foster participation and competition in the game of Rugby among the diverse community of Creighton University and our supportive friends.

The Creighton University Rugby Football Club is first and foremost a team centered in Christ, aiming to make a better person out of each of its members.  The philosophy and discipline of the sport shall be a means by which each member grows spiritually, mentally, and physically.

As a team, we will embrace the value of sport and the concept of sportsmanship to develop players that accept failure and victories alike, as well as to develop players that are dignified in victory, and gracious in defeat.

We shall strive to create a welcoming and productive learning environment for new players and the continuing education of current members.  Through encouragement, instilling the values of hard work and leadership, comradery, and the development of the mind, the body, and the spirit we aim for a higher level of achievement.

On and off the field we strive to be persons of character and integrity, upholding the Code of Conduct for the Team and Creighton University.
