Last week at the Society for Buddhist-Christian Studies meeting at Pacific Lutheran University, I had a couple of conversations with Paul Knitter and Jim Fredericks. We brainstormed about the possibility of prodding the theology departments of Jesuit colleges and universities to move further in the direction of comparative theology interests. I would be happy to participate in conversations on this topic.
Fordham is trying to raise funds to endow a chair in the area of global ethics.
