Greetings:
Welcome to the one and only Catholic Native American/Aboriginal Organization in North America.

The Tekakwitha Conference was founded in 1939 and incorporated in 1979 as a National Non-profit Organization. The National Office is located in Great Falls, Montana.

The Tekakwitha Conference represents nearly one-half million Native Catholic members of over 300 tribes and nations in the United States and Canada. In addition Catholic Church ministers of many cultural backgrounds serving the Indigenous population on this continent. We are very proud to journey with the Indigenous Peoples who continue to grow in identity, dignity and self-assurance as Native/Aboriginal Catholics. Each seeks a stronger voice and greater visibility in our multi-cultural Universal Church.

Our present membership includes, but not limited to the Indigenous people of North America, other countries throughout the world, parish and mission personnel, dioceses, organizations and Kateri Circles. We are an international religious organization.

As the Executive Director of the Tekakwitha Conference, I thank you for taking time to visit us. We hope you will learn more about our patroness Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, and perhaps consider becoming a member of this Native American Catholic organization which welcomes All of God’s people.
