This portion of the web site is designed to assist those planning liturgies for the Annual Conference. We have included 90 photographs from previous conferences as well as the official guidelines for Conference Liturgies and a brief history of liturgical inculturation at the Tekakwitha Conference.
Each liturgy should reflect as far as possible the unique culture or cultures of the host region as well as our rich Catholic traditions. The most important symbol of the Native Church is Native people. Please use this guide keeping in mind that each culture is God's unique gift and thus has a place in communal prayer and liturgical celebration.
