About Syphilis:

Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease that is caused by the spiralchetal  bacterium.  The signs and symptoms of syphilis are very numerous.  Before there was serological testing, syphilis was confused with other different diseases.  Syphilis can generally be treated by antibiotics and even penicillin.  If syphilis is left untreated, syphilis can damage the heart, aorta, brain, eyes, and bones. In some cases syphilis can be fatal. 

Symptoms of Syphilis

Sores on the infection, headaches, aches and pains, loss of apitite, fever, a rash starts to occur.
